How to Negotiate A Good Deal for Booking Woodbridge Banquet Hall?

Come wedding season and you will find all the wedding venues and Woodbridge banquet hall are booked. You cannot expect to get a good wedding hall within a few days during June, August, September or October when the wedding season is at its prime. If you are interested in getting married during this season, but still want to strike a good deal with the hall owner, you must negotiate a bit. Here are a few tips for cracking a good deal with the banquet hall owner:
  1. Do It With Confidence
Even though a wedding is an important event of your life, every couple has some budget restrictions and hence it is your due right to try out everything to ensure that the wedding budget does not go overboard. Importantly, prior to visiting the venue or the banquet hall site, you should check out a few details of the hall from its website. If possible talk with a few people who have previously arranged any event at this hall, discuss all the related events such as price, hours of availability, catering, decoration, lighting and the complete package, discounts received and so on.
Prior information helps you to make a good deal with the hall owner. You are more confident because you know what to expect and how much he can lower the prices. You can think of asking him to remove a few items that you do not want and ask him to lower the price of the package.
  1. Limit For Haggling
Each venue has an advertised price list. You need to work out how much lower can you ask so that you will be able to get the deal. Generally speaking, asking for 10 to 20% discount is expected. If you are booking a larger venue then they may take off more, but it all depends on the willingness of the owner. Importantly, you should not go beyond the 20 to 25% discount or the event manager will feel that you are not interested in booking and may not take you seriously.
